Part-day Childcare Program

Located inside SNP Child and family centre our Part-Day Childcare runs from September to June, and registration begins in March of each year for the upcoming September.
Registration open to all children who are 3 years and older by August 31st.
We ask that children attending be ready, or almost ready to use the toilet independently or with minimal assistance.

This program offers a 5-hour day, with the option to choose the days that work best for your family (minimum 2 days per week.) Featuring a large outdoor component, with as much as 2 hours each day outside in our backyard and/or Cuthbert Holmes Park, a natural wooded park beside our building. Indoor activities are also available each day as well the library, and in-class visitors.

Our part-day program provides opportunities for children to play and grow with their peers, and learn new skills that will carry them into Kindergarten. Will support them in learning how to be independent, take care of their own belongings, resolve conflicts, and encourage them to be themselves. Opportunities for active play will be provided as It helps build coordination, balance, and builds physical strength.

Snacks are provided daily, with lunch coming from home.
We are closed on all statutory holidays, and there is a two-week closure in December, as well as during spring break in March. We also close for three professional development days annually, as we value continued growth and education for our staff.

2026/2027 registration is now open! Spaces are limited, Applications will be processed in the order they are received and families who do not receive a space will be placed on a waiting list.

2025/2026 4 hour preschool sessions are full, and the waitlist is now closed.
