Playgroups
Our playgroups offer children and their adults opportunities to play and learn in a relaxed social setting. Hosted by experienced staff, sessions are offered at the Pearkes Recreation Centre. There is no fee to participate. All groups are open to children up to three years of age and/or up to five years of age, and their grown-ups. Please check the calendar for specific days and times.
All programs are by registration only at this time.
Pearkes Recreation Centre (3100 Tillicum Rd)
Monday: Young Parent Connect and Play is for parents under twenty nine years old with children up to five years old.
Tuesday: Kindergym - With space to run and climb, this active play time gets little ones moving! For children up to five years of age.
Wednesday: Parent and Tot Playgroup offers art activities, stories, dress up, and outside playtime. For children up to five years of age.
Saturday: Dad's Drop In is an opportunity for self-identified dads to to connect and engage in play with their children, up to five years of age.
Child & Family Centre (3120 Tillicum Rd., behind Pearkes Rec)
Friday: Toddler Kindergym - A chance for little ones, 2 and under, that are mobile to move! A great place to climb, crawl, dance, roll and toddle.
