Meet Anna:
Beansprouts IT1 Teacher Meet Anna (she/her)! , a dedicated Beansprouts IT 1 teacher at SNP, who has been with us for two years. Born and raised in the serene mountains of Kyoto, Japan, Anna's early experiences in Buddhist schools instilled in her a deep appreciation for nature and the universe. A lover of music, Anna played the clarinet and piano for six years while participating in both a symphonic band and a marching band. She also enjoyed running and swimming, winning a couple of races along the way! Inspired by her little cousins, Anna’s childhood dream was to become a teacher for young children. Her passion for travel and crafting, particularly origami, led her to study abroad in Canada, where she focused on English, Early Childhood Education (ECE), and infants and toddlers. Anna feels a strong connection to the community and the natural surroundings of our center, reminiscent of her upbringing in a remote area filled with wildlife and nature. She loves engaging children in messy sensory activities using natural materials and loose parts collected from local hiking trails and beaches. In her classroom, Anna introduces easy Japanese phrases to infants and toddlers, marveling at their rapid development and the joy of learning through play. She is thrilled to be part of their growth and educational journey. |
