Meet Hannah:
Family Services Worker/ Best Babies Facilitator Hello! My name is Hannah (she/her) and I am Family Support Outreach Worker at Saanich Neighbourhood Place! You can also find me in the Best Babies groups on Tuesdays and at Broad View Playgroup on Fridays. In the past, I have worked in front-line harm reduction, Indigenous family preservation, and a residential program for young parents. Fun fact, I also used to work at SNP in drop-in groups 8 years ago! I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University and hope to one day provide counselling to parents in the perinatal period. I am trained as a doula and am passionate about the birth experience and all that encompasses it as people transition into a new and life-changing chapter of their lives. I decided to come back to work at SNP because of my passion for perinatal care and the mental health of parents and their kids. I love the intentional community that SNP has created and the welcoming energy that surrounds the organization. I am so excited to be a part of an organization that values community, connection, and self-determination. When not at work, you can find me at the gym, trying a new recipe, or watching the latest reality TV show. |
