Food Equity Programs

When you are raising a growing family food is almost always on your mind. What will I make tonight? What's going in their lunch bags? Do I have what I need? Can I afford groceries today? We understand that making sure your family has healthy, delicious meals can be a struggle sometimes, for a variety of reasons.

Food equity programs offer parents and caregivers opportunities to participate in group cooking classes, access food resources, and enjoy the company of neighbours at regular Family Dinner nights. All programs are offered at no charge, but donations are welcome. All donations go directly back into our food equity programs.

Program availability changes seasonally and we welcome you to check out our program calendar for current offerings.
To find out more about these options, contact [email protected] or call 250-360-1148.

With gratitude, we respectfully acknowledge that we work and serve on the unceded lands of the L'kwungen speaking peoples of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. Read our detailed land acknowledgement here.
