During the 2025 holiday season, Canadians made a meaningful impact through the Light the World Giving Machines. Located in six cities, the kiosks allowed donors to purchase essential items for those in need. More than 100,000 items — valued at $400,000 — were donated to support 25 Canadian and two global non-profit organizations, with 100% of funds going directly to these partners. As one of the recipients, Saanich Neighbourhood Place is using these donations to support children, families and individuals with food, mental health resources and essential care — helping our community not just survive, but thrive. Since 2017, the initiative has raised nearly $97.5 million CAD worldwide, helping millions of people and continuing to grow each year. 👉 [Read the article here]

SNP Video is Out!
September 2025
A Special Moment from Our AGM At our Annual General Meeting on September 16, we were honoured to share a special video with our community. The video highlights the voices of SNP staff, volunteers, community partners, and program participants as they reflect on: What SNP means to them, How SNP has impacted their lives, Their favourite things about being part of our community. We are deeply grateful to the amazing people who make SNP such a special place. Their stories capture the heart of who we are and what we do—building a neighbourhood where everyone can belong, grow, and thrive.
