Fire Drill 2024

June 11th, 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

On June 11, 2024, Saanich Neighbourhood Place will be holding an organization-wide fire drill from 10:15 am to 11:00 am.

Fire drills are an essential part of our safety protocol. They allow us to practice evacuation routes and procedures, ensuring that in the event of an emergency, both our staff, children, and parents know what to do and where to go to stay safe.

Please be advised that all individuals in our programs scheduled within the 10 am to 11 am time frame, are required to participate in the fire drill. However, if you prefer not to take part in the drill, you have the option to refrain from attending programs on that day.

The schedule of the fire drill will be as follows:

- 10:15 am: Participants will be alerted of the fire drill.

- 10:30 am: Participants will be gathered at muster stations. Management will be communicating with participants to ensure everyone is accounted for.

-  11:00 am: Participants will be back in the building and programs will resume as normal.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this fire drill please refer them to our administrative staff by email at [email protected] or by phone at 250-360-1148 and they'd be happy to assist you.

Ensuring the safety of everyone involved is our utmost priority, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Thank you!

With gratitude, we respectfully acknowledge that we work and serve on the unceded lands of the L'kwungen speaking peoples of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. Read our detailed land acknowledgement here.
